The Role of Art and Culture in the Construction of a Tolerant and Diverse Society

This evening will bring together participants and activists of organizations and associations that work on human rights and social equality issues, such as LAMBDA (Mozambican organization for the promotion and defense of human rights of LGBT), Love to Life (Association that works with people with albinism), Like Us (an awareness campaign that calls the attention to the issue of prejudice against people with albinism) and Hands Together (an organization that works with people tested HIV-positive). Each representative of the organizations will share their experiences and perspectives on the importance that arts and culture provides in building tolerance and creating a diverse society.
